Dorothy Jean Moser was born May 7, 1930 to O.C. and Lorena Moody in Claredon, Texas. She went home to be with Jesus April 24, 2017 at the age of 86 years old. In October of 1947, she met C.J. Moser, the love of her life. They were united in marriage February 9, 1948 in Decatur, Texas. In 1951 she and her husband moved to Depew, Oklahoma. To this union were born three children, Jim, Ronnie and Paula.

Linda Elaine Bailey was born June 20, 1947 to Luther and Willa Mae Taylor in Bristow, Oklahoma. She departed this life April 16, 2017 at the age of 69 years, 9 months and 27 days. Linda was born and raised in Bristow. She attended Bristow Public Schools. On January 18, 1965 John Thomas Bailey and Linda Elaine Taylor were united in marriage. To this union were born two daughters, Diana and Jodi.

Bristow History Museum Grand Re-Opening!

The Bristow Historical Society has been hard at work restoring the Bristow Historical Museum at the Bristow Depot. As many of you will recall, as part of the agreement that brought the Polar Express to Bristow several years ago, the Historical Society needed to disassemble, pack and store the museum artifacts and displays. While the Polar Express was a wonderful plus for the city, sadly we have had to live without our beautiful History Museum. No longer!

Cowboys from across the State of Oklahoma will be strapping on their Six Guns and competing for $5,000 in cash and prizes - and bragging rights as OK's Fastest Gun. The Shootout on Historic Route 66 is presented by Green Country Gunslingers and will be held at the Creek County Fairgrounds.
