Bristow Pool Set To Open on Saturday

No doubt there are many anxious kiddos in Bristow awaiting their first cooling plunge into the Bristow City Pool. We stopped by yesterday to check on the progress in readying the pool. Tara Mattox, the Manager of the facility told us that barring an unforeseen issue, the pool will be open for swimming on Saturday, June 3rd at 1:00pm.

Obituary for Barbara Jean Farmer of Bristow, Oklahoma

Barbara Jean Farmer was born September 14, 1962 to Marion Franklin and Jimmie May Compton in Gilroy, California. She departed this life May 31, 2017 at the age of 54 years, 8 months and 17 days. She had resided in Bristow since 1977. On June 1, 1996, she was united in marriage to Lynn Farmer. Barbara worked at Rainbow Healthcare Center for over ten years. As well, she was a member of the Bristow Free Will Baptist Church. She enjoyed going to the coffee shop and loved going on drives with friends and family. She especially loved playing with her grandkids.
