“Sometimes I Get the WIGGLES” – Book Signing

From the Bristow Area Chamber of Commerce:

“We’re excited to partner with our outstanding library to host local author Andee Cooper for a book signing of her inspiring children’s book “Sometimes I Get the Wiggles.”

Please make plans to join us on Friday, February 10th at 10 am at the Montford and Allie B. Jones Memorial Library, 111 W. 7th to meet Andee and hear a reading of her book. You will also have a chance to purchase books and get them signed by the author.

Andee is a Bristow native whose son, Kannon, was diagnosed with epilepsy, more specifically Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome, at the age of three. His struggles in school inspired her to write her first book, the children’s picture book “Sometimes I Get the Wiggles”, in hopes of providing teachers a tool that they could use in the classroom to bridge the gap between students with epilepsy and those without.

A member of the Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome
Foundation of New York, Andee is also an ambassador for the foundation and active in the Epilepsy Association of Oklahoma.

A disability associate for the Community Action Project in Tulsa, she and Kannon live in northeastern Oklahoma, where they can be found on weekends spending time with family and friends or on the local tennis court. Mother and son also share a love for the mountains of Colorado.

Andee is the daughter and Kannon the grandson of Dr. Chip and Peggy Cooper.”
