Tis the season at Castlekeep Farm- kidding season that is. Bringing new life into the world is always exciting, and this past week Castlekeep Nubians (dairy goats) did a lot of that, welcoming thirteen little goat kids.

At 2 days old – this doeling is the offspring of Castlekeep Ellie and Champion Castlekeep Easy Sam.

Castlekeep Nubians has been in the ‘business’ of raising Nubian Dairy Goats for the past five years and is now home to three ADGA Registered Grand Champion bucks – all born on the farm. The farm is located about 15 minutes south of Bristow off Highway 48 in Castle, Oklahoma. This year they are expecting some 20+ new doelings and bucklings, and are currently taking reservations for these little fellows.

Their kids are all bottle raised, resulting in very people friendly goats. And they are loved and lovingly cared for from minute one (just ask Dr. Bill Mitchell).

Some of the ‘newbies’ enjoying a pretty Oklahoma day… and making one hen a bit nervous.
