Jean Hardwicke of Bristow

April 04, 1928 – October 07, 2017

Marguerite Jean Hardwicke was born April 4, 1928 to Chris and Lydia Schilling in Follett, Texas.  She departed this life October 7, 2017 at the age of 89 years, 6 months and 3 days.

Jean attended high school in Follett, Texas then enrolled in Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Oklahoma City.

On March 8, 1949 she was united in marriage to Ray Hardwicke.  They enjoyed thirty one years together before his passing September 6, 1980.

Jean was a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod.

She is survived by one son, David Hardwicke and wife, Diane of Kingwood, Texas; one sister, Helen Stuart; four grandchildren, Kimberly Weaver and husband Mitch of Bristow, Kelly Hardwicke of Allen, Texas, Jennifer Brown and husband Patrick of Bixby, Rebecca Hardwicke of Oklahoma City; four great grandchildren, Tyler Weaver and wife Kelli, Joel Weaver, Kaylen Brown and Kendall Brown; one great great granddaughter, Sophia Weaver.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Sharla Fisher; two brothers, Edwin and Erwin Schilling; four sisters, Juanita Shilling, Esther Riffel, Lorene Meller and Delilah Mazachek.
