Devin Bliss Lundberg
November 20, 1998 – July 18, 2016
Devin Bliss Lundberg was born on November 20th, 1998, in Las Vegas, Nevada. From Las Vegas he moved to Owasso, Oklahoma at the age of 4. He lived in Owasso until he was 14. He moved to Spanish Fork, Utah for his 8th grade school year only to return to Oklahoma, this time moving to Bristow his final years.
He was the 4th out of 5 children until his parents remarried giving him a total of 9 brothers and a 3 sisters. He was an energetic athlete, loyal friend, and an affectionate brother, uncle, son, nephew, and cousin. His high school class of Bristow, Oklahoma will miss his sense of humor and charismatic personality. He was a talented young man with dreams of attending the 2020 Olympics for pole-vaulting. Though his dreams will not be achieved in this life, it has been a dream come true to be loved by Devin, for all those who knew him.
He passed away suddenly July 18th, 2016 due to tragic circumstances. He is lovingly remembered by his parents Roselind Bliss Honeycutt (mother), David Honeycutt (stepfather), John Lundberg (father), Renee Garn Lundberg (stepmother), Jade Lundberg (sister), Colton Lundberg (brother), Kylee and Brandon West (sister & brother-in-law), Garrett Lundberg (brother), Tara & Jon Johnson (step-sister & brother-in-law), Kyle & Shanna Honeycutt (step-brother & sister-in-law) Cody & Ashley Honeycutt (step-brother & sister-in-law), Brandon Garn (step-brother), Cody Garn (step-brother), Ryan Garn (step-brother), Jayson Garn (step-brother), 4 nieces and 3 nephews, grandparents, cousins and friends.
Bliss: Bliss is said to mean perfect happiness or great joy. If I were to describe how Devin made me feel in one word it would be Bliss.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be held 10:00AM, Saturday, July 23, 2016 at the Freeland Center. Officiating will be Reverend Steve Lamberson with Devin’s sister, Jade Lundberg delivering the Eulogy. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Bristow Pirate Track Team and the Bristow Band Boosters.
