Danny “Mississippi” Lee Roberts was born December 12, 1956 to Earl and Bertha Roberts in Meridian, Mississippi. He departed this life November 21, 2016 at the age of 59 years, 11 months and 9 days.

Danny Lee Roberts and Anita Sparks were united in marriage July 4, 1989. He was a self-employed heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed old cars and hot rods. He also loved spending time with the lights of his life, his granddaughters.

He is survived by his wife, Anita Roberts of the Bristow home; daughter, Nichole Chasteen and husband Larry of Bristow; son, Ethan Roberts and fiancé, Elizabeth Florez of Bristow; granddaughters, Chloe “Hot Rod” Chasteen and Clarr “Doodle Bug” Chasteen; Son, Daniel Roberts; daughter, Charlie Harris; two brothers, Travis Roberts and wife Deloris of Montana and Donnie Roberts and wife Nancy of Mississippi; two sisters, Beth Ferguson and husband Donny of Tennessee and Margie Rolison and husband Dannie of Mississippi. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Billy & Bubba Roberts.

Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00PM, Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at the Bristow Christian Center with Pastor Wayne Gemmill officiating.
