John Edward Cook

November 10, 1945 – June 20, 2017

John Edward Cook was born November 10, 1945 to Summers H. and Berniece (Baker) Cook in Watonga, Oklahoma.  He departed this life June 20, 2017 at the age of 71 years, 7months and 10 days.

John grew up an only child attending Watonga Public Schools and was a member of the graduating class of 1963.  John served his country faithfully in the United States Air Force from 1966 to 1972.  His services would take him to such places as the Philippines.  John and Carol Kronberger were united in marriage July 26, 1979 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  They spent nearly 38 wonderful years together.  John worked many years as an elevator service technician and was a member of the local union.  John and his wife Carol made Bristow their home in 2011, moving here from Sapulpa.  John loved to read novels and in his spare time he enjoyed turning the pages of any book that would spark his interest.

John is survived by his wife Carol of the Bristow home.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
