Dorothy Jean Moser

Dorothy Jean Moser was born May 7, 1930 to O.C. and Lorena Moody in Claredon, Texas. She went home to be with Jesus April 24, 2017 at the age of 86 years old.
In October of 1947, she met C.J. Moser, the love of her life. They were united in marriage February 9, 1948 in Decatur, Texas. In 1951 she and her husband moved to Depew, Oklahoma. To this union were born three children, Jim, Ronnie and Paula.
Dorothy loved the Lord and was a faithful member of the First Assembly of God Church in Bristow. Dorothy loved going camping, fishing and being with her family. One of her favorite pastimes was making quilts for her family and friends. She made each of her children and grandchildren a double wedding ring quilt and made several quilts for each of her great grandchildren. Dorothy was also a member of the Depew Hobby Club.
She is survived by her son, Jim Moser and wife Joyce of Bristow; daughter, Paula Norris and husband Terry of Tulsa; eight grandchildren, Kim Looney and husband Trent of Bristow, Angie Ward and husband Scott of Glenpool, Rhonda Rust and husband Trey of Florida, Ashley Buie and husband Chris of Edmond, Adrian Barton and husband Thomas of Blanchard, Desiree Provence also of Blanchard, Allison Quisenberry and husband Chad of Owasso and Robert Moser and wife Misty of Pauls Valley as well as 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband C.J. Moser, one son, Ronnie Wayne Moser, one sister, Vergie McMurtry, one brother, Clyde Moody and one great grandchild, Bailey Moser.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00PM, Friday, April 28, 2017 at the Bristow Free Holiness Church with Pastor Mark Evans officiating. Interment will follow at the Oakdale Cemetery in Depew, Oklahoma.
