George Herbert Holmes

George Herbert Holmes, 73, died October 5, 2016 at Oak Hill Living Center, Jones, Oklahoma. He was a member of New Life Baptist Church (formerly Duffey Chapel Baptist Church).
He is survived by one brother, Thomas Cooper, White Plains, Maryland; five sisters, Edythe Barton, Bowie, Maryland; Hazel Wilson, Vallejo, California; Barbara Driggins, Alexandria, Virginia; Nickie Cooper, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Charlotte Chatman, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents Vernice and George Cooper and London Holmes.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 13, 11:00am at the New Life Baptist Church, Rev. Eric Parker will be officiating.
Interment will be at Magnolia Gardens Cemetery, Bristow, Oklahoma.
