George R. Lynch
November 25, 1924 – November 10, 2016
George R. Lynch was born November 25, 1924 to William and Bessie Lynch in Drumright, Oklahoma. He departed this life November 10, 2016 at the age of 91 years, 11 months and 16 days.
He graduated from Depew High School and attended one year at Bristow Junior College. He served his country in the United States Navy from 1943-1945.
On August 24, 1947 George Lynch and Tresalee Nunamaker were united in marriage. They enjoyed 63 years together before her passing October 6, 2010.
He enjoyed playing skipbo, singing, playing golf, square dancing, watching softball and football and spending time with his family.
He is survived by two daughters, Janice Richey and husband Gary of Bristow; Georgia Smith and husband Ted also of Bristow; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
Graveside services are scheduled for 4:00PM, Friday, November 11, 2016 at the Oakdale Cemetery in Depew, Oklahoma with Reverend Daniel Milligan officiating.
