Jackie M. Wilson was born August 24, 1934 to Zeb and Maudie (Hendricks) Wilson in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He passed away August 3, 2016 at the age of 81 years, 11 months and 10 days.
Jack was a 1949 graduate of Bristow High School. On September 29, 1955, Jack Wilson and Mary Myers were united in marriage in Bristow. To this union were born four children. The enjoyed fifty years together before her passing in 2005.
He retired from Rainbow Baking Company. He also owned and operated “Ribs and Bibs” BBQ Restaurant in Broken Arrow and Ketchum for over 30 years. He loved spending time with his family and cooking for them.
Jack is survived by two sons, Tom Wilson of Cleora, Oklahoma and David Wilson of Ketchum, Oklahoma; one daughter, Terry Newman of Tulsa, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Carolyn Wilson, brother, Bob Wilson, brother, Hugh Stevens and sister, Hazel Burgett
Funeral services are 11:00 am, Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Advent Christian Church in Bristow with Reverend Al Hutchings officiating. Interment will follow in Bristow City Cemetery.
