James Dale Goss of Bristow, Oklahoma

April 05, 1933 – October 21, 2016

James Dale Goss was born April 5, 1933 to Jess and Dess Conner in Spavinaw, Oklahoma. He departed this life October 21, 2016 at the age of 83 years, 6 months and 16 days.
On February 4, 1950 James Dale Goss and Wilma Louise Cary were united in marriage. From this union were born four children, James Jr., Carol, Steve and Laura.

He worked for IBEW Outside Contractors over 42 years. He was a member of the Masonic and Medinah Shrine. He was former Worshipful Master of the lodge. James enjoyed playing cards, hunting and fishing in his spare time.

He is survived by his wife, Wilma Goss of Midwest City, Oklahoma; two sons, James Goss Jr. of Rock Island, Illinois and Steve Goss of Bristow, Oklahoma; two daughters, Laura Shepard of Midwest City, Oklahoma and Carol Wilson of Salem, Arkansas; one sister, Donna Scroggins of Idaho Falls, Idaho; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Vivian Richard and Fay Fenick and two brothers, Eldridge and Buddy (Fred) Goss.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00AM, Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at the Hutchins Maples Matherly Funeral Chapel with Pastor Greg Hurst officiating. Interment will follow at the Kellyville City Cemetery.
