Nicholas Lance Flood of Bristow

May 03, 1979 – November 02, 2017

Nicholas Lance Flood was born May 3, 1979 to Dusty and Rhonda Flood in Bristow, Oklahoma.  He departed this life November 2, 2017 at the age of 38 years, 5 months and 30 days.

Graduating from Bristow High School in 1997, Nick was valedictorian of his class.  He was very active in high school serving as class president, a pirate football player and was inducted in the National Honor Society.  He also attended the Cadet Lawman Academy, Boys State and served as a Capitol Page for Senator Ted Fisher.  Nick attended the University of Oklahoma before transferring to Northeastern State University where in 2002 he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.

Nick had many personal interests such as reading, listening to music, watching movies and hanging out with friends.  Nick always had a smile on his face and loved to make people happy.  He was a huge Oklahoma Sooner fan and loved spending time with his niece and nephews.

He is survived by his parents, Dusty and Rhonda Flood of Bristow; one sister, Mallory Flood of Bristow; one brother, Brandon Flood and wife Brandy of Bristow; nephews, Dustyn, Jaxon, Denver, Phoenix and one niece, Abby.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00PM, Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at the Bristow First Free Will Baptist Church followed by committal services at the Bristow City Cemetery.
