George Herbert Holmes, 73, died October 5, 2016 at Oak Hill Living Center, Jones, Oklahoma. He was a member of New Life Baptist Church (formerly Duffey Chapel Baptist Church). Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 13, 11:00am at the New Life Baptist Church, Rev. Eric Parker will be officiating. Interment will be at Magnolia Gardens Cemetery, Bristow, Oklahoma.

He was born February 14, 1967, in Tulsa, OK, to parents Ted and Patricia Ann Foutch. He graduated from Depew High School in 1985 and completed two years training at Central Vo-Tech. By trade, Russell was a welder and worked for Hughes Anderson Engineering in Tulsa for approximately 20 years.

In 1956, the family left California to come home to the Kellyville/Bristow area and had another son, Gene Clayton.
