Marsha Anne Vassar was born July 7, 1948 to Elmer and Flora Due in Lawton, Oklahoma. She departed this life October 27, 2016 at the age of 68 years, 3 months and 20 days. She graduated from Duncan High School. She then attended Oklahoma University where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Education. She taught Home Economics at Lawton McArthur High School for one year. On August 14, 1971 Marsha Ann Due and Joe Sam Vassar were united in marriage. They moved to Bristow in 1974 from Oklahoma City.
