Betty Louise Meadows was born March 30, 1933 to Leo Zephaniah and Mildred Geneva Orcutt in Watchorn, Oklahoma. She departed this life August 14, 2016 at the age of 83 years, 4 months and 15 days.
She graduated from Mortons Gap, Kentucky. She married Walter B. Meadows and enjoyed many years together before his passing in 1992.
She was the owner and operator of Betty Lou’s BBQ in Depew. She enjoyed fishing, crocheting, coloring and playing the piano.
She is survived by two daughters, Jackie Swinea and husband Cliff of Depew, Cindy Morton and husband Chris of Bristow; one son, Gary Meadows and husband Chuck Pearce of Tulsa; one sister, Pat Pleasant and husband Harlan of Bristow; eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, L.D. Orcutt and Sammy Orcutt and three sisters, Jean Poulter, Lola Hicks and Molly Bennett.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00PM, Thursday, August 18, 2016 at the Hutchins Maples Matherly Funeral Chapel with Reverend Gene Jackson officiating. Interment will follow at the Oakdale Cemetery in Depew, Oklahoma.
