Bristow Pumpkins in the Park and Zombie Run Saturday!

The Bristow Chamber of Commerce is ready to celebrate Halloween this Saturday with their wildly popular and fun Pumpkins in the Park event. The big event kicks off at 2:30 with the Costume Contest (2:30 - 4:00). Next up at 4:00 is the Pie Eating Contest, Trunk or Treating, and the Zombie Feeding. Lots of vendors will be on hand with all sorts of special tricks and treats for the palate. The 5K Zombie Run begins at 6:00pm, and Awards for the runners will be announced at 7:30pm. (if you haven't already signed up, you can do so at SpiritBank or Community, or on the day of the race).

Marguerite Jean Hardwicke was born April 4, 1928 to Chris and Lydia Schilling in Follett, Texas. She departed this life October 7, 2017 at the age of 89 years, 6 months and 3 days. Jean attended high school in Follett, Texas then enrolled in Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Oklahoma City. On March 8, 1949 she was united in marriage to Ray Hardwicke. They enjoyed thirty one years together before his passing September 6, 1980.

Bristow Route 66 Car Show 2017 Info

Route 66 - aka Bristow's Main Street - will be all dressed up with dozens and dozens of show quality cars, trucks, bikes and tractors. Yep, it's time for the annual Bristow Route 66 Car, Truck, Bike and Tractor Show. The Bristow Area Chamber of Commerce will host the 18th Annual Route 66 Car Show Saturday, Oct. 14, 2017. This one-day event invites all auto enthusiasts to view a wide variety of cars, trucks, motorcycles, and even tractors from around the region as they compete for top in show. Custom prizes will be awarded for best in each category.
