Fred Jo Bunton

May 18, 1951 – December 21, 2016

Freddie Joe Bunton was born May 18, 1951, in Sapulpa, to Oliver Andrew Bunton and Edith Belle Draeger. He passed peacefully from this life at his home in Depew, Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2016, at the age of 65.

Fred shared 20 years of his life with his loving wife, Zella (Burgess) Bunton. He attended school in Tishimingo, graduating from Fox High School.

He enjoyed fishing, watching OSU football, riding his motorcycle, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. Fred enjoyed life and having fun, always making people around him laugh.

Fred is survived by his wife, Zella, of the Depew home; three sons, Shawn Bordges, of Tulsa; Clint Bordges and wife Michelle, of Phoenix, Ariz. and Brad Webster and wife, Jada, of Florida; one daughter, Vicki Grisham and husband, Rick, of Depew; two sisters, Barbara Applegarth, of Bixby and Nola Shackelford, of Glenpool; one brother, Jerry Bunton, of Watauga, Texas; 13 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; numerous brother and sister-in-laws; nieces; nephews and friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him, but he will never be forgotten.

He was preceded in death by his parents Oliver and Edith Bunton and his mother-in-law, Margaret Davis.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Hutchins Maples Matherly Funeral Chapel with Rev. Gene Jackson officiating.

In lieu of flowers, a benefit account has been set up at Community Bank, Bristow.
