Born in Springfield, Missouri on July 27, 1926 to Elburn and Opal Wallace, Norma Jean moved from Marshfield, Missouri to Bristow, Oklahoma in early 1931. A graduate of Bristow High School (1944), she went on to attend Drury College and the University of Oklahoma.

David Rodney Cloud was born October 3, 1944 to Clarence and Lou Cloud in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He departed this life July 18, 2017 at the age of 72 years, 9 months and 15 days. He had been a Tulsa resident for the past twenty-five years. A graduate of Bristow High School, Rodney would go on to serve a short time with the United States Army.

The Bristow Alumni Association has announced plans to hold a one night reunion celebration on Saturday, October 14, 2017, beginning at 7:00pm. The reunion evening will begin with a chili supper and goodies and beverages at the Bristow Country Club. Music, dancing and some good visiting time and 'catch up time' with classmates will round out the evening. The costs for the one night event will be covered on a donation basis.

Boom, it's gone. Guess the time had come for the old Bristow Kentucky Fried Chicken Restaurant, more recently Meats BBQ building to go away. And go away it did yesterday. The heavy equipment on site made short work of tearing down the structure as large dump trucks pulled in and out to cart away the debris.
